Where an OBD port is available this is an easy solution to implement and has no powering requirements and produces full reporting as you would receive with a permanently wired installed unit. The OBD port cover is removed in the vehicle and the OBD unit plugged in via a “Piggyback” harness so no obvious visibility of unit and harness, it does not require to be removed “ever” even when the car is being serviced. Full platform features are available with this option supply Location information and Reports for monitoring purposes as required.
